is the nerf n-strike maverick rev-6 its based in a revolver the darts are stored in the center its stores 6 darts its a semi-auto gun

actually it's not semi auto as you have to cock it each time. Semi-auto would require 1 cock but would fire a round every time you squeezed the trigger :P

So cool, you're making me want to try my hand at nerf modding. Excellent paint job by the way, if you hadn't said it was a nerf mod, I wouldn't have known. :+fav:

Quite well in fact!
I mod them to remove the air restrictions and lube them thoroughly before shipping.

So if i buy that gun i can kill a guy with a nice looking gun or is it just an air soft ?

Unless the victim of your assault is roughly the consistency of powered sugar, there will be no killing.
Most of my guns are airsoft, nerf, water, or cap.

I sell these all the time!
Almost all the guns posted here(and the literal dozens that are not) have been sold at anime/comic/sci-fi conventions or on Ebay.
Ebay name: Full.Steam.Ahead

This is seriously the most awesome mod (next the the turret NERF you did) of a pre-made weapon, ever. If I could, I'd go buy a NERF and mod it. :XD:

Hey, thanks for the offer. To be clear, do you only mod weapons (like airsoft and dart), or do you make some from scratch (in a general sense)?
Also, would there be payment involved? If so, this pretty much ends right there, because I've got litterally 35 cents to my name. :P

:iconomgitsbrekken:

I do both!
Mostly mods verses scratch builds.
And unfortunately I'm strapped for cash so I cannot work for free >.>
How ever, I have some mini pistols left! :D
If you can get a few bucks together I can send you a couple!

Sweet. Since the weather's calming down around here (been insanely hot) I can get a job. The one I'm going for pays decently well, so I may actually make enough to pay for a mod after a while. ;)
If I can, it'd be good to get some price estimates. About how much would a mod cost, and what's the cost based on?
Reply
:iconomgitsbrekken:
omgitsbrekken Featured By Owner Aug 14, 2009
The base cost is roughly $55 (Depending on the model)
But the fancier ones (such as my Victorian side arm or the turret) can reach from $100-$200
Prices are based on base price of materials
Then labor/time

Yeah, a couple weeks after getting the job, I should have enough for one of the smaller things, depending.

...Of course I actually have to get the job. =/
Well, I'll let you know if/when I get enough money.

Thanks a lot!
I used a textured copper spray paint for the base (K02533000 KRYLON FUSION HAMMERED SPRAY PAINT)
An 18k gold plating spray paint for the brass and gold (also by Krylon but I'm not sure of the model number)
Then brass and copper liquid leaf for the hand painting (by Plaid)
It's a lot easier, for me anyway, to take the gun apart first, then sand and steel wool, then wash it, and then finally paint it.
Also, be sure to clear coat it. I use a flat clear so its not too shiny.
If you have anymore questions just message me and I'll try to help
Good Luck!
